The Drought is Over—The Music is Back!

Greetings my dear friends of Celtic Music Night at St Andrew!

After braving another 6,000 miles since I last saw you all, and so many great adventures to catch you up on, I must wait until I see you because there are so many exciting happenings to tell you about RIGHT NOW that you will won’t to miss…

Starting with that Tuesday Celtic Music Night’s are returning starting this coming Tuesday, November 26th, 7pm!
A pre-Thanksgiving special, that will feature a presentation of music, refreshments, and an open jam session…YAY!

But I know that is so far from now, so as to not keep you waiting, I would like to invite you to an amazing Celtic music show I am a part of happening TOMORROW NIGHT!

That’s right, tomorrow night, November 20th, at Don Quixote’s Music Hall in Felton, 7:30pm, I’ll be performing with the all-start Celtic ensemble “Bridge Crossing”, with Deby Benton Grojean (fiddle), Andy Imbrie (piano), Renatta Bratt (cello), & Gary Campus (percussion), with David Brewer (that’s me, on pipes & whistles).
This ensemble just recently rocked the main stage at the Grass Valley Celtic Festival, and really has a fantastic concert prepared for you if can take the wee drive up to Felton– you will love this show! I hope to see you there…
Don Quixote’s 6275, Hwy 9, Felton, CA. Tickets are $15 at www.donquixotesmusic.com or at the door.
Minus myself, Here’s a sneak preview from the groups appearance this weekend on KPIG radio:

It’s going to be a fun filled night… See you there!

Also coming up is the popular tour of “Winter Dance”, with Molly’s Revenge, Christa Burch, and the Turco Irish dancers,
including several bay area shows: Don Quixote’s in Felton, December 12th, United Methodist Church in Pacific Grove on December 13th, & Trinity Cathedral in San Jose on December 19th… more information at www.mollysrevenge.com
Be sure to get your tickets early, as these shows do have a way of selling out!

As mentioned, Celtic Music Night will be running next Tuesday Night, and on through December: Tuesdays at 7pm at St Andrew Presbyterian Church at 9850 Monroe Ave, Aptos, CA, and many will highlight featured guest performers, and as always will be free/donations, with free refreshments, and an open music jam session afterward… tell your neighbors and bring the family– open to all!

And finally, coming in January will be tour of the western states & coming to Santa Cruz,
Scottish music duo, Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer! The tour will include a stop at Celtic Music Night in Aptos to kick off the New Year, on Tuesday January 7th, 7pm… mark your calendars now! This will be an epic night, much like when the now Internationally known fiddle champion kicked of the first official Celtic Music Night all those years ago!
There will be many other concerts on the bill for the tour, and details will be coming soon… please check in to
www.rebeccalomnicky.com soon for all of the details!

I am so looking forward to catching up with you all soon; thanks for being a part of the flourishing Celtic music scene here in the bay area–you make it happen!

Cheers,
David Brewer
