Salutations, and a very Happy Thanksgiving’s Eve to you, my dear friends of Celtic Music Night! Exciting things afoot to tell you about…Please read on!
As the first major rain of the season falls, I invite you to head out to Aptos tonight for some good Scottish piping tunes, which always helps make this weather seem more appropriate! I am thrilled to share some music tonight as a bit of a Thanksgiving Special, and I am thankful to all of you for your support of the Celtic Music Night Series. We’ll of course have our traditional shortbread and cider, on the house, and a jam session as well — Hope you can make it, if you’re in town! Either way, here’s wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family, and to a joyful holiday season to come…
This past Summer, we toured to the East Coast and had a wonderful time performing at Club Passim, a prestigious folk music club in Cambridge, Massachusetts. And also, our Celtic holiday show is starting this Saturday… Winterdance, the Celtic Christmas season holiday show featuring Molly’s Revenge, Celtic vocalist Amelia Hogan, and Irish step-dancers, has three area offerings this season: San Jose, Saturday November 30th. Celtic Music Night is a donation based series, and as is tradition, each of these fun-filled evenings include a bagpipe procession, concert of music by a featured special guest artist, Q&A with the group, complimentary refreshments, and an open Celtic music jam session with the players afterward, and is open to ALL ages.
