Salutations all you friends of Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew! We’re back back from roaming the wild plains of Wyoming & bringing Celtic music to the natives there… now there is an entire Gaelic speaking village out there where the buffalo roam! More on that when I see you this week….

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see Rebecca Lomnicky, int’l fiddle champ, making the last Celtic Music Night a record breaking event! The energy and attendance reached reached an all time high for the series, and donations where so generous toward the recording of the next NEW cd; cheers to you–we’ll be keeping you posted on the progress!
…. And, the exciting Music at St Andrew will keep happening as promised,  returning THIS WEEK, with a wonderful night of Celtic music for YOU…

This week:

Tuesday July 22, 7pm
Alisa Rose & friends — lovely Celtic vocalist, & guitarist; last appearance before relocating to New York to study at NYU! Celtic songs and stories, joined by friends on percussion, whitles, & other Celtic instruments!

Tuesday July 29, 7pm
Michael Mullen , Trio of One — fiddler, guitarist, vocalist… all played & looped simultaneously! Come and be wow-ed at the Summer Series Finale!

Each Celtic Music Night will also include a bagpipe procession, complimentary refreshments, and an open music jam session following the concert… open to all ages, and is free..donations accepted at the door… Bring your friends, instruments, & good vibes!

And as if that wasn’t enough,

You can catch full concerts by Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer through the summer, at some great bay area venues, so get in while you can.. it’s going to be a blast!

Hear David & Rebecca up close in an intimate acoustic venue, where you can hear the true sound of the instruments resonate from class playing, all for a nominal entrance donation. A wonderful way to spend a Thursday evening!

and also at Angelica’s, a phenomenally renovated night club & bistro in Redwood City, 7:00pm August 3rd — dinner concert, with guest highland & Irish dancer, hear a full concert of Scottish music by David & Rebecca, who will also be joined by the abominable Admiral Peter Haworth, former member of Molly’s Revenge, who will be backing up the duo with mighty bazouki playing, and enthralling vocal songs from the old countries.
