St. Patrick’s Prelude!

Greetings friends of Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew and fellow fans of Celtic music at large;  — I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the sun after all of the recent storms– Happy March to you!

You’re roaming piper has returned, amid many exciting musical projects and collaborations, and I’m thrilled to announce another dose of Celtic Music Nights, starting up this Tuesday at St. Andrew Church in Aptos, as well as Molly’s Revenge’s big St. Patrick’s concert with dancers!

The Road to St. Patrick’s Series of Celtic Music Night at St Andrew is ON for This Tuesday night in Aptos– I sure hope you can come out to enjoy!!! Grab the friends and family and come on down, and Spread the word…. It’s THIS TUESDAY NIGHT!! I’ve missed you all, & I’m excited to catch up with you!


The Road to St. Patrick’s Series, Celtic Music Night Dates:

THIS Tuesday, March 14th , at 7pm (Tomorrow night )– Featuring:
David Brewer!  –bagpiper/multi instrumentalist from Molly’s Revenge, & The Fire, will be performing a unique concert of the music of Ireland on tin-whistles, and bagpipes, in honor of St. Patrick’s day.

NEXT Tuesday, March 21, at 7pm –Featuring: 

John Weed’s Celtoid Kids Celtic fiddle ensemble! –fiddler from Molly’s Revenge, John Weed, with his stellar class of up-coming fiddle students and protege’s, will perform Irish, Celtic, French Canadian, and old-time American fiddle music. A grand flock of fiddlers indeed!

Celtic Music Night is a FREE event, run by donations of any amount at the door if possible to help it continue– just contribute what you can that makes sense for you, and your support is greatly appreciated in keeping folk tradition going. CDs and recordings of the artists are also available for purchase.

As is tradition, each of these fun-filled evenings at Celtic Music Night include a bagpipe procession, concert of music by a featured special guest artist, Q&A with the group, complimentary refreshments, and an open Celtic music jam session with the players afterward, so bring your instruments, questions, and good vibes– and ALL of this is ALL ages, and ALL for a nominal donation of any size at the door. So grab your friends, family, instruments, and head out to Aptos for a good time the way nature intended!

More coming soon… The Spring Series of Celtic Music Night will return this April, with many featured guests… Stay tuned!
