Hello my good people of Celtic Music Night at Saint Andrew! I hope this letter of great Celtic happenings finds you all well and happily summer-ized!!

Firstly, thanks to everyone who came out to the Santa Cruz Celtic festival last week; what a great new festival! It was lovely to see you all out there, and to know your support is there to help that wonderful event grow!

Next, I wanted to invite you to the next two Tuesday’s for which I will be in here town before heading out on the rest of the tour in the Pacific Northwest…. THIS Tuesday, June  26th, I will be there presenting some music and hosting an open Jam session, so I’d sure love to see you and catch up! 7pm TOMORROW NIGHT!

Also, TUESDAY JULY 3rd, 7PM, Doris Williams & Karl Franzen: Medieval, Renaissance, & Celtic tunes & songs, on Lute, Guitar, vocals.
This duo performed a wonderful set last time they appeared at music night– if you missed it, you’re getting a second chance to come enjoy!

Molly’s Revenge happily announces the addition of the Rosemary Turco Irish Dancers to our Friday night Angelica’s Bistro show!  A raised extension to the stage will be added for the Turco girls, giving every seat an unimpeded view of the dancing.  Better yet, there are still tickets available.

Everyone Loves a Festival!

(Hello to all you friends of Celtic Music Night; we’re just back in the area from the Dixie state! Just a quick reminder to come on out to MUSIC NIGHT TUESDAY NIGHT!)
Hello to all you friends of Celtic Music Night! I am so excited because there is a whole lot of Celtic tomfoolery afoot as summer is under way…. And you’re invited!

It all starts this coming Tuesday night because

Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew Church is ON!! That’s right– for THIS Tuesday, June 12th, 7pm!

Return of The Piper King…

Greetings music loving friends! The roving piper returns….

After blazing through 12 states in 3.5 days, I am so excited to tell you:

Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew Church is ON for THIS Tuesday, May 22nd, 7pm!
That’s right everyone, I have returned from the East to host another fabulous night of music you won’t want to miss…
Special guests: Molly’s Revenge, with Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion Rebecca Lomnicky!
I hope you all can make it to this concert! It will be a rare chance to hear Molly’s Revenge acoustic, and to see the return of Rebecca’s fine fiddling to our lovely venue of St Andrew Church, as we pass through Santa Cruz on tour coming from performing in Los Angeles on our way to Portland and Seattle.. We’ll be rocking the reels, & will fill you in on all of the latest exciting travel tales, and upcoming summer events! …and of course we’ll have a jam session so bring you ax, and good vibes and we’ll have a grand time!
As you know, Celtic Music Night runs on donations from you all, and since there are so many guests coming from so far for this special night, suggested donation is $10 per adult, and $5 per student. Thanks so much for being a part of this great event, and remember, you make it happen!

Celtic Music Night returns next Tuesday!

Hello my now distant friends out west!

Your roving piper has made the epic journey east, and now I am elated to write to you and let you know about this wee surprise that

Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew Church is ON for next Tuesday, April 24th, 7pm!
That’s right folks, things have been quite exciting indeed and I have many stories to share from the exciting adventures of crossing the nation and exploring this new coast, encountering new people, tunes, and places, …and just when I’m starting to feel a bit settled in and the winter snows have given way to spring flowers, I am returning to the west coast for a brief tour with Molly’s Revenge, and among the stops for me is, of course, Celtic Music Night!
Among the stops for Molly’s Revenge are a couple of great Scottish Festivals: First, our premier appearance at the Bakersfield Highland Games this Saturday April 21st, and then concerts in Paso Robles, CA, and Reno, NV, and ending up at the fantastic Sacramento Scottish Games in Woodland, CA; one of our all time favorite Scottish festivals, on April 28th & 29th… so come on out and join us in some serious Celtic music-ing revelry if you can make any of those dates…www.mollysrevenge.com
But I will definitely look forward to seeing you all at St Andrew Church in Aptos, 9850 Monroe Avenue, on next Tuesday April 24th at 7pm!
I just can’t wait to return to the beautiful bay area, and tell you about the voyage & new home turf, catch up with you all, and play some epic jam session tunes!!!
And after returning to the east coast for another stint, I will be on tour on the west coast again for the summer, kicking that off with ANOTHER great Celtic Music Night at St Andrew complete with a full cast of featured guests, includingRebecca Lomnicky and Molly’s Revenge! So mark you calendar for Tuesday May 22nd, 7pm!
