David Sibbald

NEXT UP: David Sibbald

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011, at 7pm at St. Andrew Church in Aptos, Robert Burns scholar and master orator David Sibbald will be our main featured guest coming to us directly from Scotland! This fantastic evening of masterful wordage will be complimented by special musical guests Peter Daldry, Scots singer and guitarist from Clyde Bank, Scotland, and myself, David Brewer playing instrument(s).

This combination is sure to be a magical evening for Scottish culture so I really hope you can make it! You can see a sneak preview of David Sibbald at his website, and of Peter Daldry by visiting his website.

The evening is free and fun for all ages. We’ll have a full concert of great poems, music and information, questions and answers, free refreshments, and an informal Celtic Music jam session afterward. So please help spread the word and bring your friends, family, neighbors, and any human being that enjoys music even a little bit—and good vibes!

For a taste of the treat that awaits you, check out this video of David Sibbald reciting the “Address To A Haggis”

And there’s more!

David Sibbald, Peter Daldry, and I will also be doing a repeat performance of this the next night: Wednesday April 6th, 7pm, at The Capitola Book Cafe, in Capitola.

Instant replay!

And, if you know anyone in Northern California or Oregon that you want to turn on to this show, Peter Daldry and I are doing a duo tour this coming week up that way, performing in Chico and Mt. Shasta in California, and in Albany, Lake Oswego, and Portland up in Oregon. Please let your friends know—it’s going to be some great music. We appreciate your help getting the word out!
