It sure has been a long time since the last Celtic Music Night in Aptos– I’m ready for one; Are you??!!

I’ve finally returned from a great many travels, FIVE separate tours around the country to be exact, between The Fire, Molly’s Revenge, and Winterdance, all since the last Celtic Music Night…So alot has happened with many great tales from the road to relay…

Celtic Music Night at St Andrew, returns to Aptos this month for the St Patrick Series! Featured guest concerts, with open Celtic music jams…

THIS Tuesday, Tuesday March 12th, 7PM –Bagpipes and more! And the following Tuesday with Irish song singing and more!

Celtic Music Night Saint Patrick Series:
Featuring:
Tuesday March 12th, 7PM — David Brewer, presenting Irish tunes on bagpipes and tin-whistle, and how the Irish uilleann pipes evolved, plus new tunes and stories from the road.
Tuesday March 19th, 7PM — Irish Singer, Erin Ruth Thompson, will present an evening of Celtic folk songs, in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, accompanied by David Brewer on guitar and bodhran. For a sneak preview, see Erin’s website: http://erinruthfolk.com/

Celtic Music Night is a donation based series, and as is tradition, each of these fun-filled evenings include a bagpipe procession, concert of music by a featured special guest artist, Q&A with the group, complimentary refreshments, and an open Celtic music jam session with the players afterward, and is open to ALL ages.
Starts at 7PM, and held in the Sanctuary of St Andrew Presbyterian Church of Aptos, 9850 Monroe Ave. Aptos, CA

Celtic Music Night is a FREE event, run by donations of any amount at the door if possible to help it continue– just contribute what you can that makes sense for you, and your support is greatly appreciated in keeping folk tradition going. CDs and recordings of the artists are also available for purchase.
