One More Time…Until Summer!

Happy New Year to you all! I hope your new year’s eve was full of celebrating with good food, drinks, & bagpipes!

Looking back on the past years of Celtic Music Night at St Andrew, it warms my heart remembering all of the great times we’ve had together — nights filled with special musical guests spanning the Celtic music scene, music jam sessions, & fun gatherings of folks spanning our community. Thank you! You’ve made this a very special event, just by being there…

And just as we start into the next chapter– the new year, we’ll have a flash back to when Celtic Music Night was officially launched, with the epic finale return of Glen Fiddich fiddle champion, Rebecca Lomnicky!

Tomorrow night at Celtic Music Night, Tuesday January 7th, 7pm:
Scottish music duo, Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer! Presenting the final Celtic Music Night until Summer, at:
St Andrew Church, 9850 Monroe Ave. Aptos, CA

The touring duo will be stopping in at Celtic Music Night in Aptos to kick off the New Year right, with an evening of music including tunes traditional, and brand new! This will be an epic night, much like when the now Internationally known fiddle champion kicked of the first official Celtic Music Night all those years ago… Come relive the magic of that night!
There are many other concerts on the bill for the 15 concert New Year Tour before heading back to New York, and details are now up… please check in to www.davidbrewermusic.com  Or www.rebeccalomnicky.comNOW for all of the details!

Rebecca Lomnicky was invited to compete at the Glen Fiddich Scottish Fiddle Championship in Scotland back in 2009 and won hands down against a formidable cast of native Scots fiddlers, and was the youngest person to ever win the world class btitle. Rebecca teamed up with David Brewer of the popular Celtic band Molly’s Revenge to record their album “Inspired”, and the duo has forged their repertoire from deep within the music manuscripts of old Scotland, combined with self-penned melodies presented on tightly woven fiddle & bagpipe playing, with guitar, bodhran, and whistle accompaniment, with a joyous & passionate stage presence that is unmistakable.

Their feature performance at Celtic Music Night will be a taste, leading up to this special full length event:

This Wednesday night, January 8th, 8pm, Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer will be performing a special dinner concert at Angelica’s in Redwood City. It’s one of our favorite venues, with wonderful food and adult beverages, and a very classy & fun ambiance… especially after their recent renovation which has made it a really top-shelf venue to take in a concert. If you haven’t been there yet, it is well worth the trek, and this very special concert will include guest dancers, as well as guest Celtic vocalists Peter Daldry of Scotland, & Alisa Rose.

I am so looking forward to catching up with you; thanks so much for your support & for being a part of our wonderful Celtic music scene here in the bay area–you make it happen… See you soon!

Sincerely,
David Brewer
