Celtic Music Night

Greetings to you all, friends of Celtic Music!  Thanks to everyone who came out last night–it was magical being there with you all, in the music!

As promised, The Road to St. Patrick’s Series of Celtic Music Night at St Andrew CONTINUES This Tuesday night in Aptos– I sure hope you can come out to enjoy!!! Grab the friends and family and come on down, and Spread the word…. It’s THIS TUESDAY NIGHT!!

Your roaming piper has returned, amid many exciting musical projects and collaborations, and thrilled to announce another dose of Celtic Music Nights, starting up this Tuesday at St. Andrew Church in Aptos! Read on for the particulars, as well as two other special concert announcements, and a new cd recording, which you can be a part of, turning it from a vision to reality…

THIS Tuesday February 23rd, at 7pm (THIS TUESDAY NIGHT)–featuring:
David Brewer is the piper/multi instrumentalist from Molly’s Revenge, & The Fire, and he also talks in the third person.

Come be a part of it! Mark your calendars now! Spread the word! Grab your friends, family, neighbors, and instruments and Check it out at St Andrew Church: 9850 Monroe Ave. Aptos, CA — THIS Tuesday night, at 7pm! Hope to see you there!!

Celtic Music Night is a FREE event, run by donations of any amount at the door if possible to help it continue– just contribute what you can that makes sense for you, and your support is greatly appreciated in keeping folk tradition going. CDs and recordings of the artists are also available for purchase.

As is tradition, each of these fun-filled evenings at Celtic Music Night include a bagpipe procession, concert of music by a featured special guest artist, Q&A with the group, complimentary refreshments, and an open Celtic music jam session with the players afterward, so bring your instruments, questions, and good vibes– and ALL of this is ALL ages, and ALL for a nominal donation of any size at the door. So grab your friends, family, instruments, and head out to Aptos for a good time the way nature intended!

Tuesday February 23rd, 7PM St Andrew Church, Aptos — David Brewer
Tuesday March 1st, 7PM, St Andrew Church, Aptos — TBA
Tuesday March 8th, 7:30PM, FIELD TRIP! Special concert, “Old Blind Dogs” from Scotland, held at Don Quixote’s Music Hall in Felton.
***We will not be meeting at St. Andrew Church on this night; instead at Don Quixote’s in Felton. Tickets are $20adv./22 at the door.

This concert is being produced by the Celtic Society of the Monterey Bay, and is a very rare opportunity to see this legendary band over from Scotland, so my thanks to anyone who can make it there with me to support this concert–I myself will definitely be there!

Seasons greetings my fellow Celtic Music loving friends! What a lovely season it has been so far, full of joyful events with so many more on the way…among them, as promised, The Winter Series Finale is ON for TOMORROW NIGHT!! First though, thanks so much to everyone who came out to the Church last week for the lovely Celtic & Christmas program by Charmas–it was a really nice program, and a super fun night with you all! And Thanks to the amazingly joyous sell-out crowd that packed into Trinity Cathedral over the weekend for the San Jose performance of Winterdance– wow, what a night! But Christmas hasn’t arrived yet–The final leg of the show’s tour does actually bring Winterdance within viewing distance of the South Bay, next weekend in Pacific Grove just before it leaves for the final few shows in Southern California so please read on and let yer kin know it’s coming to the neighborhood!
