Single Malt in Church?

Traditional Scotch carol: Fa la la la laaaa, la LAGAVULIN!!! 😉

Happy Holidays and good tidings all, from the folk at Celtic Music Night at St Andrew!!! As Christmas approaches, the spirit of caroling is in the air, and I have a few things to tell you about to help make the season delightful and fair!
This week, Tuesday December 13th, 7pm–9pm,
Informal Celtic music jam session hosted by David Brewer (not a full Music Night presentation, just a jam)Though the next official “Celtic Music Night late Winter series” won’t start until January 3rd, 2012, I’ve decided to host an informal jam in the mean time to get one more fix of Jigs and Reels. You are all invited this coming Tuesday to bring your ax, or just come and listen and hang out, but just know I will not be kilted & there will not be a ‘concert’ portion, and I likely will not do the full setup like usual, but it’s going to be a lovely to to focus on some  good session tunes and have a chance to say hi in a very casual setting– hope you will join in!

And as Christmas is right around the corner, our ever joyously entertaining Molly’s Revenge Christmas Concerts are straight ahead! TOMORROW NIGHT!!! A quick reminder that A Celtic Christmas Celebration with Molly’s Revenge is tomorrow night!!! Friday December 9th, at Don Quixote’s International Music Hall, Felton Once again, you are invited to join the members of Molly’s Revenge and the Rosemary Turco Irish Dancers for an annual celebration of music, song, and dance associated with the festive season.  This year, we’re delighted to welcome Christa Burch on board as our featured guest vocalist.  Christa possesses a singular voice: warm, supple, expressive, intimate, and instantly recognizable. A Benefit for The ALS Foundation, Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and Aplastic Anemia/MDS Foundation.  A portion of money raised from our two Christmas albums, Winterdance and Yuledance, will be donated to these three charities which are near and dear to our hearts.  There’ll be a limited number of Yuledance copies available, so get ’em while they last! ***This popular event usually sells out and seating is first come first serve—you’ll have a blast, but be sure to get your tickets in advance, and get there a bit early to make sure you have a good seat! www.mollysrevenge.com
