Fiddle Night!

Good day to you friends of Celtic Music; I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend! One thing I am so thankful for is this great Celtic Music scene here in the Santa Cruz area… and a huge part of what makes it great is the people who listen to the music and interact with the events and musicians– that’s you!!! Being able to share with you at St Andrew Church is such a blessing… thank you for being part of what makes this all so special.
And I am pleased to announce:

Celtic Music Night is ON for this Tuesday– TOMORROW night with a special guest as promised:
Tuesday, November 27, 20127pm…
Michael Mullen, virtuosic fiddler of Celtic and rock fiddle styles

formerly of the Celtic rock band Tempest, Michael’s virtuosic fiddle solos have made him a bay area legend, and his less often heard acoustic fiddling is really sweet, as evident in his traditional solo album “Fiddler’s Creed”, which will be available at Music Night. This will be a rare opportunity to hear the full spectrum of Michael’s vast fiddling chops, and promises to be a fantastic evening of music– the perfect way to end the season… you can learn more about Michael by visiting: http://www.michaelmullen.net
It’s going to be a blast so come on out, bring your friends, and support this fantastic concert!
I greatly look forward to seeing you all and catching up with you in person.. As usual we’ll also have complimentary refreshments and a jam session afterwards!
St Andrew Church, 9850 Monroe Ave, Aptos, CA

Final Celtic Music Night of 2012, and until next summer… Tuesday, December 4th, 20127pm…. David’s Farewell to Scotland send-off concert, party, and jam!
I will be moving into the heartland of Celtic music–Scotland– right after the New Year. That’s right folks, after the conclusion of the Molly’s Revenge Christmas tour this January, I am so excited to be relocating to the highlands of Scotland for a wee while to connect with counterparts of the music, and learn multitudes of new tunes & songs, all the while getting submerged in the Gaelic culture… And of course giving the highlands a good dose of Molly’s Revenge-ness in return! So I hope to catch you while I can with the full line up of Molly’s Revenge, Christa Burch, and the Irish dancers at one of our fine Christmas concerts right around the corner… Come raise the parting glass in person this December! See you there… You can keep up with details and updates by checking in at www.davidbrewermusic.com, as well as at our home www.molysrevenge.com soon!

So please come out to one of the up coming shows while I’m still here– it would be a shame if we didn’t get to properly say goodbye… and there are several to choose from:
Molly’s Revenge will be on tour with the fantastic vocalist Christa Burch and the Turco Irish dancers for a fabulous and heartfelt Christmas Concert celebration!
