Trio!

Greetings friends of Celtic Music Night at St. Andrew.. I hope the summer is treating you all well!
We had such a great time performing at the Santa Cruz Celtic Festival; thanks to all who came out!
It seems appropriate to celebrate our sudden Celtic weather with an exciting evening of Celtic Music:

This week– Tuesday June 25, 7pm… MOLLY’S REVENGE … in concert, celebrating upcoming cd release: TRIO !!!

That’s right folks, this weeks Celtic Music Night will be a phenomenal night of Dynamic Acoustic Celtic music from the band that has taken the obscure gems of the repertoire to stages all over the world; from Scotland to China, Australia to Aptos…
Irresistibly foot-stompable music joyously played with fiddle, bagpipes, whistle, bodhran, & guitar.
And as always, it will be a free concert to attend, with free refreshments, but be sure to bring some funds because the long awaited new album “Trio” will be for sale specially to Music NIght attendees a full week before it’s official release date of July 2nd… you can own one of the very first copies!
The new CD features a huge variety of Celtic sub-styles & different dance rythyms… perhaps the most diverse recording from the band to date. Can you imagine an old-time American fiddle song on bagpipes?! Admission is free but donations are accepted, and go to the artists, and to continuing the event. This concert of music will be followed by a traditional Celtic Music jam session as well– musicians are invited to join in… round up your family and friends a delightfully fun evening to be shared all-together!

And I am so excited to announce that coming up is the Monterey Scottish Games FestivalJuly 6th & 7th
Not only has it moved back to it’s original location which I love– the beautiful Monterey Fairgrounds– but I am tremendously elated to be performing there myself: David Brewer, with Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion of Scotland, Rebecca Lomnicky! We will be doing two performances each day of the weekend along with Men of Worth, Seamus Kennedy, and loads of great pipe bands, and of course there will be Celtic vendors of every sort, as well as Scottish athletics. This is a really great event, well worth a trip across the bay, and it’s going to be a blast–see you there!
